Rabbinical College of America
Morristown - Health & Safety

Health & Safety

Yeshiva Tiferes Bachurim places a high priority on the health and safety of our students, faculty, and staff. Our aim is to maintain a secure and healthy environment that encourages learning and personal development.

We have developed an all-inclusive emergency preparedness plan, which includes guidelines for medical emergencies, natural disasters, and unforeseen situations. We maintain a very close relationship with our local government and police department. Law enforcement patrol cars frequent the Rabbinical Campus and are often stationed on campus. The campus is locked at all times and monitored by surveillance cameras.

We are committed to promoting healthy living habits and wellness, in addition to our health and safety measures. We have a fitness center on campus available to students, as well as sports facilities for organized activities. We also provide healthy meal options in our dining hall and offer educational programming that emphasizes the importance of healthy lifestyle choices.

Health Insurance:

All students are required to have their own health insurance as we do not provide coverage. It is important for students to have adequate insurance to safeguard against any medical emergencies.

Medical Resources:

Morristown is home to the esteemed Atlantic Health System, formerly known as Morristown Memorial Hospital. Additionally, we have a religious doctor, Dr. Howard Weiss (also known as Dr. Tzvi Weiss), who treats many of our students with legendary care from his nearby office. In case of any medical emergency, we recommend students visit the nearby clinic FAST-ER on Speedwell Avenue.

Hatzalah:

Moreover, we have the new Hatzalah of Greater Metro West, which serves our area, with active Hatzalah members in Morristown on call. Soon now have an ambulance stationed on campus to ensure prompt response to any medical emergency.

We are dedicated to providing a safe and healthy environment for all members of our yeshiva community. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding our health and safety measures, please do not hesitate to contact us.
