Rabbi Dovid Faiden

Rabbi Faiden’s class builds the necessary skills for self-study of chassidic texts. During this week Rabbi Faiden’s class will be exploring chapters of the classic chassidic work, Tanya, that discuss the central role of Simcha (Joy) in the life of a Jew and a chossid.

Rabbi Faiden’s class trains its students with the tools and skills necessary for studying on one’s own.

Rabbi Brafman’s class delves deeply into advanced ideas that form the underpinnings of chassidic philosophy. During this week Rabbi Brafman’s class will be studying a Mamar of the Rebbe analyzing the parallels between the levels of the soul and Seder Hishtalshulus.

Rabbi Brafman’s class helps its students gain familiarity with the style of Gemarah, it’s syntax and vocabulary while learning classic selections of the Gemarah.

Rabbi Yaakov Wagner

Rabbi Wagner’s class explores and expands on the fundamental concepts of Chassidic philosophy. During this week Rabbi Wagners’s class will be studying a mamer form Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi, the first Lubavitcher Rebbe that opens new vistas about the Holiday of Chanukah.

Rabbi Wagner’s class explores the classic talmudic commentaries as well as the evolution of halachic decisions from the Gemarah to modern day Halacha.

Rabbi Zalman Dubinsky

Rabbi Dubinsky’s Chassidus class, for the seasoned student, carefully analyzes the texts and thought process of chassidic discourses. During this week Rabbi Dubinsky’s class will be studying the Maamar from Rebbe concerning the spiritual roots of the exchange and differences between Yosef and Yehuda.

Rabbi Dubinsky’s Gemarah class takes its students on an analytical journey, investigating the logic of the Gemarah and its commentaries.
